Communications Bridge — Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
Communications Bridge (formerly LS3 Bridge) is a business phone and team messaging app made by LS3 Solutions
for organizations that use the LS3 phone system. It is signed into with an
extension issued by your organization's administrator. This policy describes
what the app handles and where it goes.
What the app stores on your device
- Your sign-in — the server address, extension number and
password for each company line you add. Passwords are kept in the
device's keychain.
- Call history — a local list of recent calls, kept on the
device only.
- App preferences — theme, audio device choices and
similar settings.
What leaves your device
- Calls — call signalling and audio travel, encrypted with
TLS and SRTP, between your device and your organization's phone server.
The app itself does not record calls.
- Messages and tasks — chat messages, group conversations
and task lists are stored on your organization's server so that your
colleagues and your other signed-in devices can see them.
- Push tokens — so an incoming call or message can wake
the app, the device's push tokens are registered with your organization's
phone server, which delivers notifications through Apple's and Google's
push services.
Calendars you link (Google, Microsoft)
You can choose to link your own Google or Microsoft calendar in the app's
calendar settings. Nothing is linked unless you do it yourself, and you can
unlink it at any time from the same place or from your Google or Microsoft
account settings.
- What we access — your calendars and their events, so the
app can show them next to your other calendars and save the events you
create or change in the app back to that calendar. We also read the email
address of the account, only to show which account is linked.
- Where it is kept — the sign-in token and a copy of the
events from three months back to three months ahead are stored on the
LS3 Support server for your account. When you unlink, the token is
deleted and the copied events are removed.
- Who sees it — you, and only the colleagues you choose to
share a calendar with in the app. Your linked calendar data is never sold,
never used for advertising, and never used to train any model.
Communications Bridge's use and transfer of information received from
Google APIs adheres to the
Google API Services User Data Policy,
including the Limited Use requirements.
What we do not do
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
- No analytics or tracking of your use of the app.
- No sale or sharing of your information with third parties.
- No access to your contacts, photos, or location.
The microphone
The app asks for microphone access for exactly one purpose: so the person
you call can hear you. Audio is transmitted only during a call.
Your organization's role
Your extension, and the messages and call records that pass through your
organization's phone system, are administered by your organization. Questions
about how long they are retained, or requests to remove them, go to your
administrator.
